An interesting group of 4 to Detective Chief Superintendent Jack Hagger, Head of Suffolk C.I.D. He served with the police for 28 years and had 4 official commendations for public service but was forced to resign due to drink driving on the 15th October 1982: he'd had 3 large scotches with colleagues in Lowestoft. Was banned for 12 months, fined £25, and also had to pay doctors fees of £20.70.

He later joined the Royal Oman Police and served as head of C.I.D. in the province of Dhofar for 7 years at the rank of Major.

Medals are: Oman Order of the Special Royal Emblem, Police Long Service Medal (Chief Inspector), Oman 15th Anniversary Medal and Oman Police Long Service Medal, see history
