R.D. who joined the Royal Australian Artillery (Army Reserve) in 1949 rising to the rank of Colonel and became the Colonel Commandant Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery 4th Military District. In civilian life he was a lawyer rising to become a Judge sitting in the Supreme Courts of South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Colonel Leslie Trevor Olsson A.O. M.B.E. K. C.S.J. R.F.D. E.D. was born on 31/7/1931 at Rose Park, South Australia. His father was a partner in a law firm and consequently he moved into the legal profession himself. His legal career ran in parallel with his Army Reserve career. In 1963 he was appointed Deputy Master of the Supreme Court of South Australia. 1969 Judge Appointed Deputy President of Industrial Court and Commission of SA. 1984 Justice Appointed Judge of Supreme Court of South Australia. He joined the Army Reserve in March 1949 retiring in 1970 as Lt Colonel. He was awarded an MBE in 1962 when a Major. He died on 8/1/2020 in Adelaide.
