Distinguished Flying Cross group of 5 to 177975 Douglas Drummond Lindsay, Navigator Pilot Officer, RAF, served with 166 Squadron, awarded Distinguished Flying Cross dated 1944, London Gazette 17th November 1944, he took part in 28 operations over Germany on some of the most hazardous operations: Scheinfurt ball bearing factories, Nuremberg (with over 90 aircraft lost), also some of the V1 sites (see list), Aircraft Wellington Bombers, all his ops. were on Lancasters, with this group comes his log book, lots of photos, his navigation book, his service book, his Buckingham Palace letter, plus more, a nice complete lot
