Group of 6 to Lieutenant/ Captain (Royal Army Medical Corps 1915-19) & Surgeon Commander (Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve 1931-42) Daniel McKinlay Reid, M.B. C.H.B. Killed in the blackout December 1943. See history.

Served in the Near East in WW1, later becoming Medical Officer in Italy. After the war, he returned to Scotland as Deputy Superintendant at Hawkhead.

He was a victim of the blackout 1st December 1943, in a hospital in Nottingham when he was knocked down by a motor vehicle.
