Group of 11 to Regimental Quarter Master Sergeant Sidney Thomas Helm, Royal Army Medical Corps, born in Chelsea 1892, he landed in France on 15th March 1915, he was engaged in important duties as a hospital orderly and stretcher bearer, he was present at Neuve Chapelle, Loos, Ypres, Vimy Ridge, and the Advance of 1918, after the war he served in the Territorial Army (with bar), then second medal with 2 bars, present at the 1935 Jubilee, received his M.B.E. from the King on 9th June 1938, then served in WW2 from 1940-44 in the Royal Army Medical Corps as Regimental Sergeant Major, see history with news cutting showing he served as a bus conductor after the Second War, Hammersmith Garage, died 1977, a good long service group
